South Australian Government – Announces new plan for apprenticeships and traineeships!
This week Steven Marshall MP, Premier of South Australia announced that the South Australian Government has committed to an exciting new plan to increase apprenticeship places over the next four years.
The South Australian Government has signed the National Partnership Agreement on the Skilling Australians fund and has agreed to the investment of $200 million over the next four years, to help create 20,000 new apprenticeship places – which is great news for local South Australian’s looking to enter the workforce.
This agreement has secured a significant investment in funding for apprenticeships and trainees in South Australia. Alongside the State Government’s $100 million commitment, it also unlocks $87 million coming from a Commonwealth Government contribution.
The South Australian Government has advised that further information will the made available in the coming weeks, where it will detail how employers, industry and registered training organisations can look to partner with the South Australian Government.
